A Seed Japan (Action for Solidarity, Equality, Environment and Development) is a youth-led non-profit environmental organization. They work with the public, politicians, businesses, and other non-profits to create a just and sustainable world. A Seed Japan focuses on transnational environmental issues and the social injustices contained within them. They believe that stopping fossil fuels, mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal are necessary to ensure a habitable earth. Some of their campaigns include land & water conservation, protecting biodiversity, sustainable food & agriculture, and responsible consumption & waste management. They also educate and mobilize the public, with a focus on youth. Their "Eco Life Guide" supports citizens to bank and invest responsibly. All residents of Japan are encouraged to join A Seed Japan, especially youth. Get started by signing up for their newsletter and following them on social media. You can also volunteer, join a local chapter, and become a member. Don't forget to check out their free online resources!
