Alternatiba

Alternatiba is a non-profit organization that is working towards an ecologically sustainable, socially just, and democratic society. Climate is central to Alternatiba because climate chaos will make social justice, peace, democracy, international solidarity, and the preservation of biodiversity even more difficult. They aim to eradicate our current neoliberal, capitalist, patriarchal, productivist system that is based on overconsumption and infinite growth. They also fight perceived false solutions to the climate crisis, such as geo-engineering and nuclear. Alternatiba focuses on holding big educational events, political campaigns, creating resources (including mapping renewable energy projects in France), and reducing air traffic.
