Bankwatch is an international environmental NGO that works to ensure that EU finances address the climate crisis and do no harm to people and nature. Their focus includes monitoring the investments of banks in Europe and Asia, land use, ending fossil fuels, renewable energy, protecting democracy, restoring ecosystems, protecting biodiversity, and green cities. Their vision is an environmentally, socially, and economically just world, built on solidarity, participation, and respect for ecological limits. They want people to live fulfilling lives while maintaining awareness of how their actions affect other people and the natural world.
