ClientEarth is an environmental law charity that uses the law to hold governments and corporations accountable for creating and worsening climate and ecological breakdown. They work in over 50 countries, utilizing partnerships across borders, systems, and sectors. They work to bring about systemic change: informing, implementing, and enforcing the law, advising decision-makers on policy, and training legal and judicial professionals. They aim to protect the oceans, forests, and wildfire, stop the fossil fuel industry, protect human health, reduce plastic, waste, and the use of dangerous chemicals, and promote environmental justice.
