Climate Chance is a Paris-based, international non-profit. It aims to bring together all the non-state actors recognized by the UN to form coalitions, hold summits, and take bold climate action. Non-state actors include local authorities, business and industry, non-governmental organisations, workers and trade unions, the scientific and technological community, women, children and youth, Indigenous peoples and communities, and farmers. These non-state actors create and share proposals on climate action and work to guarantee their proposals are incorporated into international bodies, policy, and part of important climate conferences. A few of their projects include protecting biodiversity, forming coalitions for Africa that bring energy access and renewable energy to Africa, reforestation, building sustainable African cities, and more. Any non-state organization or business can get involved with Climate Chance and support their projects. To get started, sign up for their newsletter. Also check out their current projects, upcoming events, and resources.
