Climate Group

Climate Group is an international non-profit whose goal is a net zero world by 2050 (which some scientists say is too late). They focus on systems with the highest emissions and where our networks - both governments and businesses - have the greatest opportunity to drive change. They do this by building large and influential networks and holding organisations accountable, turning their commitments into action. They share what we achieve together to show more organisations what they could do. Climate Group focuses on passing policy and working with businesses to achieve a rapid transition to renewable energy, zero-emissions transportation, net-zero carbon buildings, and lowering emissions from industry, including the agricultural industry. Their network includes over 500 multinational businesses in 175 markets. The Under2 Coalition, which they are the Secretariat, is made up of over 260 governments globally, representing 1.75 billion people and 50% of the global economy. They have offices in London, New York, New Delhi, Amsterdam, and Beijing. Climate Group is open to all businesses and governments that need support lowering emissions and producing sustainably.
