Fridays for Future (FFF) is an international movement that participates in regular demonstrations to demand action from political leaders to take action to prevent climate change and with a transition to renewable energy. Key goals are to keep the global temperature rise below 1.5 °C, ensure climate justice, and listen to the best science currently available. Publicity and widespread organizing began after Greta Thunberg staged a protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis outside the Swedish parliament, holding a sign that read "Skolstrejk för klimatet" ("School strike for climate"). They welcome people to join and strike for our future as one of the most powerful things you can do. They help support with information and guides on how to strike and amplify the message in order to push for positive change. You can connect with them by sending a message to your country chapter, follow on social media, sign up for their newsletter, and check the strike map to see if there is one in your area to take part in.
