Friends of the Earth Japan

Friends of the Earth Japan (FoE Japan) is the Japanese chapter of Friends of the Earth International. It's an environmental justice organization that works to protect the environment and human rights with the ultimate goal of creating a world in which all people live peacefully and equitably. As a member organization of Friends of the Earth International, which has 2 million supporters in 72 countries, FoE Japan has been active since 1980. FoE Japan works with national and international networks. Their campaigns include just and fair development, protecting forests and biodiversity, ending the age of fossil fuels, limiting biomass, climate justice, nuclear power phase-out, and ending the age of fossil fuels.
