GRACQ

GRACQ is a nonprofit organization in Belgium that advocates and lobbies to promote cycling and for the rights of cyclists. The organization is citizen-led and run mostly by volunteers. Their goal is to promote the health of citizens and protect the environment from emissions that come from gas-powered vehicles. They have lobbied against SUV ads, to enable cyclists to take their bikes on public transport, for improved cycle lanes, and more. They also organise cycle repair sessions, training on how to safely cycle in urban areas, awareness raising campaigns, and group cycle rides. There are many local chapters across Belgium.
