Founded in 1994, the Institute of Permaculture and Ecovillages (IPEC) is a non-profit organziation in Brazil. IPEC is a community of permaculturists and biobuilders who work together and educate others to create a green and sustainable world. They work to empower people on the journey to a future of abundance and sustainable prosperity by cultivating resilient homes, communities, and ecosystems with permaculture. They offer the technologies and solutions needed to transform our current reality. This includes green housing, responsible sanitation, food security, renewable energy, and freshwater. They offer education and community services to the rural area of the Brazilian Cerrado and work internationally with other organizations in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
