Meres au Front

Meres au Front is a nonprofit in Canada that works to mobilize mothers, grandmothers, and allies to take action on the climate emergency. They use a variety of nonviolent tactics to raise awareness, mobilize the public, and demand action from decision-makers that are in line with climate science. Their main focus is transitioning away from coal, oil, and natural gas to renewable sources of energy. They are a decentralized, inclusive organization that aim to bring together people of all backgrounds. You can get started by signing up to become a member and joining a local group. There are local groups across the country that are both focused around either French or English and mostly use Facebook to organize.
