Naturefriends Greece

In 2008, Naturefriends Greece became a national chapter of the international NGO Naturefriends International. They work closely with universities, politicians, non-profits, scientists, and other professionals to educate the public about the climate and ecological emergencies and pass policy to protect the environment in Greece and worldwide. Their focus includes supporting Greek culture and traditions, sustainability, sustainable tourism, outdoor activities, consumer rights, protecting democracy, human rights, renewable energy, reducing waste, abolishing nuclear weapons, green cities, climate justice, and green transportation.
