Oceanic Global is an international non-profit that inspires us to care deeply for the ocean and provides solutions to protect it. They shed light on humanity’s essential relationship to the ocean and empower individuals, communities, and industries to create positive change. Our ocean is both the source and a sustainer of life on Earth. It covers over 70 percent of our planet, stabilizes the climate as a major carbon sink, and produces over 70 percent of our oxygen. As a species, we are intrinsically oceanic. Oceanic Global empowers behavior that protects our ocean’s health and, in turn, our own. They raise awareness about the devastating effects of human consumption on our aquatic ecosystems and work with leading scientists, conservationists, artists, politicians, and industry experts to drive positive change.
