ZERO is a nonprofit environmental organization working towards a society that respects planetary boundaries and ensures equity and human rights for all. They work to influence policy in Portugal, throughout Europe, and around the globe with a focus on climate change, clean energy, sustainable consumption, zero waste, water, agriculture, chemicals, forestry, biodiversity, and transitioning to a circular economy. ZERO is building a grassroots movement by educating, training, and activating the public to protect the environment and consume responsibly. Some of their projects focus on children and youth. They also participate in environmental research and network with organizations that share their values and goals. All residents of Portugal can join ZERO.
