Zero Waste Germany is the umbrella organization of Zero Waste groups across Germany. The organization works to pass policy that reduces waste and supports the transition to a circular economy. They promote dialogue between civil society, businesses, and the government through public events and debates. In addition, they submit opinions on bills in the environmental sector, such as on waste exports or projects in the field of circular economy. Their goal is to put the interests of people and the general public at the center of legislation and other political decisions in waste and environmental policy. They are in constant communication with citizens as well as representatives of science, media, business and politics. Zero Waste Germany is open to all residents of Germany.
