Founded in 1989, Magyar Természetvédok Szövetsége (MTVSZ) is the Hungarian chapter of Friends of the Earth International (FoEI). Their network includes over 100 Hungarian environmental protection organizations. They also work with organizations across the globe to shape environmental policy and protect the planet. Their focus is on climate change mitigation, sustainable agriculture, holding the fossil fuel industry and other polluting industries to account, and exposing banks that fund fossil fuel projects. They reach their goals through community events, education, research & publications, and lobbying politicians. Get started by signing up for their newsletter, following them on social media and signing up to volunteer. You can also apply for an internship or become a member.
